I grew up in the Washington Heights community and I’m very proud to be the principal of High School for Health Careers and Sciences. I’ve worked hard to develop a unique collaborative culture that brings out the best in staff, students, and parents. Our mission is to be a high school that fosters this sense of community amongst all constituents. Our students develop a sense of self-esteem and respect for themselves and others.

Through a diverse and challenging curriculum, focusing on science, we cultivate student interest in various science and health professions. We provide a quality education and experiences that prepare our students to develop the academic, social and personal qualities necessary to realize their fullest potential as life-long learners and productive, caring citizens of the world.
